Guangxi has a long-standing history of sugarcane cultivation. With its favorable climate and land resources, the region leads the nation in planting scale, yield, and crop quality. As China’s core sugarcane-producing area, Guangxi supplies over 60% of the country’s sugar, making it an indispensable region in the national sugar industry.

Fertilizer: A Key to High-Yield, High-Quality Sugarcane

Fertilizer plays a crucial role in Guangxi’s sugarcane farming. It’s essential for boosting yields, sugar content, and overall crop quality. Sugarcane requires significant amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as secondary and micronutrients such as calcium, magnesium, and sulfur. Scientific fertilization supports healthy plant growth, increases sugar content, and improves resistance to pests and diseases — ensuring premium raw material for sugar production.

Nutrient uptake per 1,000 kg of sugarcane:

• Nitrogen (N): 0.80–2.61 kg
• Phosphorus (P₂O₅): 0.25–0.46 kg
• Potassium (K₂O): 1.32–6.00 kg
